Where can resin surfacing be laid?

Our resin bound product can be laid directly on top of a concrete or a tarmac base if it’s suitable and will be checked on a site survey.

Our Terrabase product is an innovative paving system which can be laid straight onto a MOT hardcore base.


What is resin bound surfacing?

Resin bound surfacing is a mix of natural aggregate and UV resistant resin which bonds together in a specialized mixer until completely coated. This is then laid and finished with a trowel to leave a hard wearing and stunning finish. This system is fully permeable and complies with the SUDS regs.


What is resin bonded surfacing?

Resin bonded surfacing is a scatter system which provides the appearance of loose stone and is used a lot more in the commercial market.


Does the resin surface require much after care?

No once laid your surface will not need much after care, although we do recommend a power wash 1-2 times per year to keep it looking great. We also supply a maintenance service if requested.


How long does it take to cure?

Usually around 4-6 hours for foot traffic and 12 hours for vehicle traffic.


How long will resin surfacing last?

A high quality resin bound system like ours will last in excess of 20 years.


How long will my resin bound driveway take?

All drives come in different shapes and sizes but most are completed within 2 days if on an existing surface.
